RangeBook has no account system, no server, and no database. Your launch monitor files are read inside your own browser and never sent anywhere.
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no email capture, no analytics and no cookies. The application code contains no network requests of any kind — it cannot transmit your data because it has no mechanism to do so.
When you import a CSV, it is parsed in your browser and the results are saved to your device's local storage. That storage is readable only by RangeBook, only on that device and browser. It is not synced, backed up to us, or visible to anyone else.
To remove everything, delete your sessions in the app, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. If you installed RangeBook to your home screen, deleting the icon removes its storage with it.
RangeBook installs a service worker so it runs without a connection. That worker stores copies of the app's own pages, icons and fonts on your device. It does not store or transmit your golf data. Clearing site data removes it.
Fonts are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts or any other CDN, so no third party is contacted when a page loads. There are no embedded trackers, pixels, advertising scripts or social widgets anywhere on this site.
The app can copy a text summary of a session to your clipboard so you can paste it into a coaching tool or a message. That happens only when you tap the button, and the destination is entirely your choice. Once you paste it somewhere else, that service's privacy policy applies, not this one.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request logs — IP address, browser user agent, page requested and timestamp — for delivery and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to build profiles and have no analytics layered on top. See Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for how long they retain request data.
If you choose to send a session export to help us support a new launch monitor, we use it only to test file parsing and delete it once that work is done. We never publish it. Remove any player name from the file first if you would rather it not be included.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how data is handled, the date at the top will change with it. Because nothing is collected, there is no stored record to migrate or delete if the policy is updated.
